Ahmedabad, March 28 The Indian-flagged vessel 'Jag Vasant', carrying 47,000 metric tonnes (MT) of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), arrived at the Vadinar port in Gujarat's Jamnagar after crossing the Strait of Hormuz amidst the West Asia crisis, an official said on Saturday.

The 'Jag Vasant' was anchored at 8:30 pm on Friday, having been loaded from Mina Al Ahmadi Port, Kuwait, according to a statement from the Deendayal Port Authority, of which Vadinar port is a part.

The statement added that the vessel is preparing for a ship-to-ship (STS) transfer at the anchorage.

The cargo of 20,000 MT on the mother vessel, 'Jag Vasant', will be unloaded in Mumbai, while another 9,000 MT will be unloaded in Mangaluru later, the official added.
