New Delhi, March 31 State-owned NTPC announced on Tuesday that its subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NREL), has started supplying 168.02 MW of commercial electricity from its two solar projects in Khavda, Gujarat.
This brings the total installed capacity of the NTPC group to 89,057 MW and the commercial capacity to 87,977 MW, according to a regulatory filing.
NREL has begun commercial supply of 78.02 MW from the 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project, starting March 31, 2026.
Similarly, it has commenced commercial supply of 90 MW from the 1200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project.
