Gandhinagar, April 9 – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s Yuva Morcha unit in Gujarat resolved on Thursday to work towards a "grand victory" in the upcoming local self-government elections, as its newly constituted state unit held its first meeting at the party's state headquarters in Gandhinagar.

The meeting was chaired by the state Yuva Morcha president, Vadodara MP Hemang Joshi, in the presence of state in-charge Kirit Patel, according to party leaders.

Addressing party workers, Joshi emphasized organizational strength, discipline, and teamwork as central to expanding the party's reach.

He said that a strong and coordinated structure was essential to carry the party's ideology to "every person in society."

He called on Yuva Morcha members to remain active in their respective areas and maintain continuous contact with people.

"Through sustained communication and outreach, workers must take the public welfare initiatives of the BJP's central government, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as those of the state government led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, to every citizen," he said.

Joshi also outlined plans for upcoming programs, campaigns, and social initiatives, and urged workers to adopt digital platforms to strengthen engagement with young people.

He said that efforts should focus on making the organization more dynamic while contributing to positive social change.

Kirit Patel, addressing the gathering, described the Yuva Morcha as the "centre of strength" of the party.

He urged office-bearers to carry out their responsibilities with commitment and work towards achieving organizational goals.

Referring to the forthcoming local elections, he said the role of the Yuva Morcha would be significant in mobilizing support.

Party workers present at the meeting expressed a collective commitment to securing a decisive victory for the BJP in the elections.

Discussions during the meeting covered organizational matters, membership drives, training programs and social service activities.

Leaders also advised workers to strengthen grassroots engagement, maintain dialogue with local communities, and better understand public concerns.

Among those present were state general secretaries Naresh Desai, Devangi Maiyad, and Bhavin Shiroya, along with office-bearers, cell conveners, executive members, and district and city unit representatives of the Yuva Morcha.
