RAMBAN, March 1: Deputy Commissioner of Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, inspected assets established under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), with a particular focus on the Hi-Tech agriculture facility in Karol.
Accompanied by senior district officials, the DC reviewed the infrastructure and functioning of the unit, which aims to promote modern and scientific farming practices. He emphasized the optimal use of resources and directed the timely implementation of all programme components.
Highlighting innovative farming, he asked the Department of Agriculture to enhance field outreach, training, and awareness programs to help farmers benefit from the Hi-Tech initiatives.
Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Vinay Kumar Jandial briefed the DC on the project's objectives, strategy, and expected outcomes, highlighting its role in boosting productivity, quality, and technical support for farmers.
