Mumbai, April 8: After generating excitement with the first look of his upcoming film "Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai" alongside Pooja Hegde, Varun Dhawan has now given moviegoers another glimpse from the highly anticipated romantic comedy, featuring Mrunal Thakur.
In the latest still from the movie shared by Varun on his official social media handle, he is seen embracing Mrunal from behind, sparking a fiery chemistry between the co-stars.
"But love happens again and again," read the caption of the joint post by Varun and Mrunal.
Expressing their excitement about the new Bollywood pair, one of the users wrote, "Can't wait to see Mrunal and Varun!". Another commented, "The chemistry is amazing".
"Good luck @varundvn and @mrunalthakur for this upcoming and exciting movie," read the third comment.
While Mrunal is posing in a short black dress with golden embellishments, Varun accompanies her in a faded brown jacket with complementary trousers.
On Tuesday, Varun unveiled the primary look from the movie on social media, in which he was seen enjoying a cosy pose with Pooja Hegde on the bank of a river. "Love happens only once!!!" #haijawaanitohishqhonahai," Varun wrote along with the photo.
Directed by David Dhawan, "Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai" features an ensemble cast including Mouni Roy, Chunky Panday, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar, along with others.
For those unaware, this project marks the fourth collaboration between Varun and his father, David Dhawan. Before this, they collaborated on "Main Tera Hero" (2014), "Judwaa 2" (2017), and "Coolie No. 1" (2020).
Backed by Ramesh Taurani under the banner of TIPS, "Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai" is expected to reach the cinema halls on June 12th.
