Los Angeles, March 26 Chrissy Teigen, the wife of Grammy-winning musician John Legend, is showing off her new hairstyle. The 40-year-old model and cookbook author took to Instagram's Stories section and revealed that her long hair had been cut into a blunt bob.
She also thanked her hairstylists, Irinel de Leon and Priscilla Valles, who styled her hair, for the transformation. According to 'People' magazine, Teigen had removed her hair extensions.
The video showed Teigen dressed in casual attire while relaxing on her couch at home, wrapped in a cozy blanket.
According to 'People', Teigen experimented with a shorter hairstyle back in 2025 when she attended the Grammys with a chic, sleek, straight, blunt bob. However, later that year, she returned to longer hair, adding extensions to her brunette hair.
The mother of four also underwent a "hairline lowering procedure" in 2025 to achieve her desired hairstyle. Days after sharing a video of herself with a bandaged face in the hospital in May, Teigen revealed the reason on her Instagram Stories.
"Hi everyone. Many of you have been wondering about my hospital photo, and that's understandable, as I didn't explain lol. I had a hairline-lowering procedure," she wrote alongside a photo of herself showing off stitches at her hairline.
"When you see it on a carpet, it's ALWAYS extensions," she added, explaining why she had opted for the procedure.
Teigen isn't the only famous face experimenting with shorter hair. Earlier this month, Margot Robbie debuted a bob and bangs at the Chanel women's show during Paris Fashion Week on March 9.
Beyoncé also showcased a major hair change when attending Super Bowl LVII in February. The 44-year-old artist, Beyoncé, chopped her hair into a chin-length bob, her shortest style.
