Hamirpur (HP), April 8 A minor boy stole his mother's jewelry, pawned it, and took a loan of Rs 3 lakh to buy an iPhone, police said on Wednesday.
Following the mother's complaint, Hamirpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Balbir Singh said that the jewelry stolen from their home in Gagal in Nadaun two days ago had been recovered from a private finance company.
Police said that the accused boy's sister and his friend, Krish, were also involved in the incident, helping him obtain the money, and added that the investigation is ongoing.
