Chandigarh, April 2 The Haryana government has established an 18-member district-level clearance committee in each district to promote micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and streamline approval processes.
An official notification released on Thursday stated that the move follows an amendment to the Haryana Enterprise Promotion Rules, now known as the Haryana Enterprise Promotion (Amendment) Rules, 2026.
The government said the step aims to simplify, expedite, and make procedures more transparent, thereby boosting investment and creating employment opportunities.
The committee will be headed by the district's deputy commissioner and include officials from departments such as power, taxation, town planning, pollution control, labour, and municipal bodies.
Officers from HSIIDC, HSVP, MSME centers, AYUSH, renewable energy, and forest departments will also be members, along with a representative of the district MSME organization.
The joint or deputy director of the District Industries Centre will serve as the member secretary.
The committee will serve as a single platform for quick resolution of industry-related matters and improve the ease of doing business in the state.
