
Chandigarh, April 5 Temperatures were up to four degrees below normal in Haryana and Punjab on Sunday, according to the meteorological department.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a high of 31.7 degrees Celsius, Narnaul 29 degrees Celsius, Rohtak 32.6 degrees Celsius, Gurugram 30.9 degrees Celsius, and Hisar 32.4 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a high of 27.5 degrees Celsius, Ludhiana 31 degrees Celsius, Patiala 32.7 degrees Celsius, and Mohali 31 degrees Celsius.
Chandigarh, the common capital of the two states, recorded a maximum temperature of 30.9 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
