New Delhi, April 10 As temperatures in the national capital gradually rise, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 32.8 degrees Celsius, 2.3 degrees below normal, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Data from individual stations showed that Ridge recorded a maximum temperature of 33.7 degrees Celsius, 1.4 degrees below normal, while Lodhi Road registered 33 degrees Celsius, 1 degree below normal.

Meanwhile, Palam recorded a maximum of 31.8 degrees Celsius, 3.7 degrees below normal, and Ayanagar logged 32.5 degrees Celsius, 2.5 degrees below normal.

For Saturday, the weather office has forecast strong surface winds during the day, with the maximum temperature expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 16.3 degrees Celsius, 3.7 degrees below normal.

Among the stations, Palam recorded a minimum temperature of 15.6 degrees Celsius, 4.4 degrees below normal, Lodhi Road 15.2 degrees Celsius, 3.8 degrees below normal, Ridge 15.9 degrees Celsius, 4.2 degrees below normal, and Ayanagar 15.1 degrees Celsius, 3.8 degrees below normal.

Regarding air quality, the city's Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 155, falling in the 'moderate' category.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered 'good', 51 to 100 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 'moderate', 201 to 300 'poor', 301 to 400 'very poor', and 401 to 500 'severe'.
