Itanagar, April 3 The Arunachal Pradesh Police have arrested two individuals and seized heroin worth approximately Rs 3.3 lakh from their possession in the Nirjuli area near Itanagar, an official said on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team intercepted a vehicle at the viaduct bridge in Dikrong and seized 31 vials of heroin weighing around 40 gm, along with the arrest of two individuals, identified as Khyoda Tama (24) and Bamang Raju (29), on Thursday, he said.
A case has been registered under the NDPS Act, and further investigation is underway, the official added.
