Jammu, April 6 Traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway was suspended early Monday following landslides and rockfalls triggered by heavy rainfall in the Ramban district, officials said.
Movement of vehicles has been stopped in both directions on the highway as landslides and rockfalls have blocked both sections between Karol Bridge and Chanderkote, a traffic police spokesperson said.
Personnel and equipment are working to clear the highway of debris and rockfalls.
