Shimla, February 17 Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu announced on Tuesday that Congress MLA from Kullu, Sunder Thakur, will soon be appointed as a minister.
The information was shared in the House during the discussion on the Revenue Deficit Grant (RDG), as Thakur and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur engaged in a heated exchange.
The chief minister stood up and attempted to calm the members when he stated that the Kullu legislator would soon be appointed as a minister, and the LoP would receive an invitation for this position.
This led to a de-escalation, and the proceedings of the House continued.
Sunder Thakur is a two-time MLA, elected in the 2017 and 2022 state assembly elections.
