Srinagar, March 4: The festival of colors, Holi, was celebrated with enthusiasm and joy across India on Wednesday, symbolizing joy, unity, and brotherhood among different sections of society. The vibrant festival also witnessed celebrations in various parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended his heartfelt greetings to the people on this auspicious occasion. In a post on his official X handle, he said, "Greetings to everyone on the festive occasion of Holi. May this festival of colors bring joy and prosperity to society and foster the spirit of harmony among our citizens."
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also conveyed his warm wishes through a message on X, expressing hope that the festival would bring happiness, harmony, and prosperity to every home.
Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary, Minister for Health Sakeena Itoo, and Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma also greeted the people, highlighting the importance of the festival in strengthening communal harmony and social cohesion.
