Mumbai, March 4 Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu decided to celebrate the Holi festival on the set of her upcoming drama, "Maa Inti Bangaaram".
A fun video posted by her on Instagram showed Samantha first identifying her target and then skillfully launching an attack in a true "Maa Inti Bangaaram" style.
Her water balloon attack was met with water balloons in return.
Samantha even got her director, B. V. Nandini Reddy, involved in the fun celebration.
Wishing everyone on the occasion, she captioned the post, "Happy Holi! From the sets of #MaaIntiBangaaram #MiBonMay15th"
In February, the makers of "Maa Inti Bangaaram" announced that the highly-anticipated Tollywood drama would be released on May 15 this year.
Sharing the new release date on social media, Samantha wrote, "See you in theaters this summer, Bangaraalu…#MaaIntiBangaaram Grand Release worldwide on May 15, 2026 #MiBonMay15th #MiB"
Before that, in January, they had released the first look poster of the drama, directed by BV Nandini Reddy.
The photo showed Samantha standing inside a bus wearing a simple brown saree. She appeared ready for a confrontation, with a determined look in her eyes.
"Just keep watching... #MaaIntiBangaaram will connect with you all," she captioned the post.
Samantha revealed that "Maa Inti Bangaaram" focuses on a narrative that prioritizes family.
She said, "Maa Inti Bangaaram tells the story of a woman whose strength comes from both her vulnerability and her courage. Playing this character and producing this film has been an incredibly fulfilling experience for me."
"This film's world is rooted and emotional, with a narrative style that prioritizes family and slice-of-life while maintaining its quirky, edgy energy. I'm truly excited for audiences to experience this story and connect with its spirit when it reaches them," Samantha added.
