
March 9, Kohima: Horticulture Minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse today announced that ₹20 crore has been allocated for the construction of horticulture-related roads during 2025-26 under the State Plan, through the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) – NABARD.
Responding to a question raised by MLA Naiba Konyak during the 8th session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, she stated that a total of 10 horticulture-related roads are being constructed across the state.
These include two each in Kohima and Chümoukedima, and one each in Kiphire, Mon, Peren, Phek, Wokha, and Zunheboto.
The Minister also informed that a proposal for horticulture-related roads during 2026-27 has been submitted under the sectoral outlay through RIDF-NABARD.
