Reasi, March 19: A training program for Phase 1 of the House Listing and Housing Census was conducted in Reasi, aimed at preparing Charge Officers, SDMs, and Census Clerks for upcoming operations.
Officials provided guidance on preparing house lists and collecting data on housing conditions, amenities, assets, and infrastructure. Participants were also trained in using digital tools, mobile apps, and the self-enumeration portal for efficient data collection.
Senior district officers attended the session, which included interactive discussions, demonstrations, and clarification of roles, timelines, and quality standards. Emphasis was placed on complete coverage, data accuracy, and strict adherence to guidelines, with officials highlighting the importance of this phase as the foundation of the Census process.
