
New Delhi, March 13 Heritage Foods Ltd announced on Friday the inauguration of its new ice cream manufacturing facility in Shamirpet, near Hyderabad, Telangana.
The company's ice cream business currently generates annual revenue of approximately Rs 100 crore.
"The commissioning of the Shamirpet facility significantly enhances the company's ability to scale operations up to five times the current level over the next seven to eight years in the ice cream category," the company said in a statement.
The plant has an installed production capacity of approximately 24 million litres per annum, with provisions for expanding capacity in line with future demand growth, the company said in a statement.
The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with modern automated production systems and advanced quality control infrastructure to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency.
The facility has been developed as part of the company's strategy to strengthen its value-added dairy portfolio and cater to the rapidly growing demand for premium ice cream products.
