Hyderabad, April 10 A 13-year-old girl was "sexually assaulted" by a minor boy, police said on Friday.
According to the police statement, the boy, who had befriended the girl on social media, sexually assaulted her shortly after.
Based on the girl's statement, a case was registered at the Kachiguda police station.
During the course of the investigation, the minor was apprehended, produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, and sent to an observation home, the statement added.
