Bengaluru, March 31 A tech couple from Hyderabad are alleged to have died by suicide at their home here, police said on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Bhanu Chandar Reddy (Babu Reddy) and his wife, Shazia.
Both were employed as software engineers in private companies.
According to police, Reddy hanged himself from the ceiling in his house on Monday night. Seeing him dead, Shazia allegedly jumped from the 17th floor of the building where they lived.
The couple had been married for approximately nine years and had previously been in a live-in relationship.
Kothanur police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
