April 11, New Delhi – Secretary of Information and Broadcasting, Chanchal Kumar, visited the National Film Development Corporation campus in Mumbai to review initiatives in the media and film sectors.
He held meetings with key institutions within the media and entertainment ecosystem. The Secretary also toured the National Museum of Indian Cinema and reviewed its development and global connections, including the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025.
Kumar inspected facilities at the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies, reviewing infrastructure and content creation labs.
The visit concluded with presentations from various media bodies on ongoing initiatives and advancements.
