Faridabad, March 19 A day after assuming the role of administrator at Al-Falah University in Faridabad, IAS officer Amit K Aggarwal appointed Ajay Ranga as the university's vice chancellor, according to an official order.
Previously, Ranga was the Registrar (OSD-I) of JC Bose University.
Dr. Rajeev Kumar Singh has been appointed as the Controller of Examinations. He held the same position at JC Bose University.
The charge of Chief Finance and Accounts Officer has been given to Ravi Kumar Sharma, who was previously the Chief Accounts Officer at JC Bose University. Meha Sharma, Deputy Registrar of JC Bose University, has been appointed as the Registrar of Al-Falah University, according to the order.
In addition, Abhinav, who was the Deputy Superintendent at JC Bose University, and Rajdeep, Assistant at JC Bose University, will handle administrative tasks as assigned by the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of Al-Falah University, the order stated.
"These officials will manage the day-to-day affairs of the university in the usual manner, for the greater interest of the university," the order read.
Al-Falah University is facing legal, financial, and regulatory scrutiny following allegations of involvement in a terror financing probe linked to the November 2025 Red Fort car blast.
The university's role emerged during the investigation of a "white-collar" terror module, in which more than 10 people, including three doctors, were arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
While classes have resumed, the campus is still under investigation, and there are ongoing concerns about the future of students and staff.
