
Jabalpur, March 16 The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), an affiliate of the RSS, organized an iftar gathering in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, on Monday, where participants broke their fast with cow milk and dates, according to a functionary.
Hundreds of people attended the program held at a hotel on Barat Road.
"The Hindu community views the cow as a mother, and their sentiments should be respected," said S K Muddin, national convenor of MRM.
Several Hindus also attended the program and participated in the iftar with members of the Muslim community, conveying a message of harmony and brotherhood, he said.
After the iftar, city Qazi Hafiz Moin led the Maghrib prayers and offered prayers for peace, communal harmony, and the country's progress.
