Mumbai, April 2 Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced on Thursday the signing of a 300-key greenfield Gateway Hotel and Convention Centre in Kanamangala, near Bengaluru Airport, Karnataka.
"With the rapid expansion around the airport, North Bengaluru has emerged as a significant growth corridor, and this signing aligns with our strategy to build scale in the micro market, addressing the rising demand from corporate and MICE segments. We are delighted to partner with Hombale Group for this project," said IHCL Executive Vice President - Real Estate and Development, Suma Venkatesh, in a statement.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 20 hotels in Bengaluru, including 11 under development.
