The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Uttarakhand during the next two days. IMD said that similar conditions are likely to prevail over East Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. The Met Department has predicted hot and humid weather conditions over Kerala, Mahe, Konkan and Goa tomorrow. It has also forecast a gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 3 to 5 degree celsius over Central India during the next 5 days.
