The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain, thundershowers, lightning, and gusty winds in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. Similar conditions will prevail in North Interior Karnataka and Telangana today. The Met Department has said Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may experience light rainfall or snowfall till tomorrow.
Meanwhile, according to the IMD, dense fog conditions are expected over Punjab and Himachal Pradesh during morning hours today. The weather agency has forecast a gradual increase of two to three degrees Celsius in maximum temperatures in the northwest parts of the country over the next seven days.
