The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over Odisha and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the next two days. The Met Department has also predicted thunderstorms and lightning over Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Vidarbha, Assam, and Meghalaya today. Similar conditions are likely over East Madhya Pradesh and Gangetic West Bengal for the day. Meanwhile, Northwest India is expected to experience a rise in maximum temperature by three to four degrees Celsius during the next six days.
