The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for thunderstorms accompanied with hailstorm over Assam and Meghalaya for tomorrow. The Met department has predicted thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Parts of North East, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim tomorrow. Similar conditions are likely to prevail over Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand tomorrow. IMD has said that Coastal Karnataka, Kerala. Mahe and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are likely to experience hot and humid weather conditions for the next two days.
