Kathua, February 24: The Kathua District Legal Services Authority, under the leadership of Chairman and District & Sessions Judge Jatinder Singh Jamwal and Secretary Urbaahi Raina, organized an awareness campaign on the Lokpal Act.
Senior Advocate Arvind Gupta explained the benefits of the Act, its implementation in J&K after the abrogation of Article 370, and how citizens can access early and free justice with support from Public Liaison Officers (PLOs) at police stations. Participants, including former sarpanches, highlighted the Act's effectiveness in providing accessible justice and emphasized the importance of spreading awareness at the grassroots level to help poor litigants.
