Mumbai, March 16 – Jannat Zubair Rahmani, a well-known name in the television industry, and her brother Ayaan recently narrowly escaped a physical assault on a highway. The siblings were reportedly chased in broad daylight.
According to previous reports, Jannat and Ayaan were attacked in Panvel by an unknown person. The motive behind the attack remains unclear. A police investigation into the matter is underway.
In a statement posted on social media, Jannat's team assured that both Jannat and Ayaan are safe. It read, "Hi everyone, We would like to inform you that Jannat and Ayaan experienced a distressing incident involving physical assault and a brazen chase on the highway during broad daylight yesterday. Currently, the investigation is ongoing, with the police authorities actively looking into the matter. Jannat and Ayaan are safe now.
