
New Delhi, March 18 At least 22 flights were diverted from Delhi airport on Wednesday evening due to adverse weather conditions, according to an official.
The national capital experienced dust storms and heavy rain on Wednesday evening, and the India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for the city.
The official stated that 22 flights that were scheduled to land at the airport were diverted to other airports.
The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), operated by DIAL, is the largest airport in the country and handles over 1,300 flight movements daily.
