Srinagar, March 13: The Passport Seva Project under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, will conduct a special passport service drive on March 14, 2026 (Saturday), in response to high demand for passport services within its jurisdiction.
As part of this initiative, the Srinagar Passport Office will facilitate passport application processing at the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra in Anantnag and the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra in Baramulla, both of which will be open on this date.
Mr. B. S. Rawat, Regional Passport Officer, Srinagar, stated that this special drive has been organized to assist applicants who are experiencing delays due to high demand and to provide faster access to passport services in the region.
Applicants can avail passport services by booking an appointment through the official Passport Seva portal and selecting their preferred location, either the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra in Anantnag or the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra in Baramulla, along with the available time slot for the specified date.
Applicants are required to visit the designated center at the scheduled time with their appointment confirmation and carry all necessary documents.
