The Ministry of Steel has invited AI startups and innovators to collaborate in developing practical and deployable solutions for the steel sector at the India AI Impact Summit. As part of the Summit, the Secretary (Steel) and Chairpersons and Managing Directors of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), including Steel Authority of India Limited and National Mineral Development Corporation Limited, will hold an exclusive interactive session with AI startups tomorrow.
The Ministry of Steel has informed us that a stall has been set up to showcase key problem statements from the mining and steel sectors. The interaction aims to foster meaningful partnerships between industry stakeholders and emerging technology enterprises to address real-world challenges and contribute to building a technologically advanced and self-reliant India. It aims to encourage artificial intelligence-based innovations to enhance efficiency, productivity, sustainability, and safety across the entire steel value chain.
