
February 26, Jerusalem – Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu.
The two leaders reviewed the significant progress made in the India-Israel Strategic Partnership and discussed further opportunities in various areas of cooperation, including science and technology, innovation, defense and security, agriculture, water management, trade and economy, and people-to-people exchanges.
A total of 16 Memoranda of Understanding were exchanged between the two nations. Among the major MoUs were:
MoU on the India-Israel Innovation Centre for Agriculture
MoU in the field of geophysical exploration
MoU in the National Maritime Heritage Complex, Lothal
MoU on Cooperation in the field of Fisheries and Aquaculture
MoU on Cooperation in advancing education through the use of AI
MoU between NPCI and MASAC for linking payment systems of India and Israel
MoU between IFSCA and Israel Securities Authority regarding mutual cooperation
MoU on cooperation in Artificial Intelligence
