Srinagar, March 18 The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday condemned the recent attack carried out by Pakistan in Afghanistan, which resulted in the loss of over 400 lives and the injury of several others.
Expressing grave concern over the attack, BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur called on the international community to take stern action against Pakistan.
Thakur urged the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), of which Pakistan is a member, to unanimously condemn Islamabad's actions and expel the country from the grouping.
"It is ironic that Pakistan, which claims to be a champion of Muslim interests, has carried out such a 'heinous' attack on people in Afghanistan, especially during the holy month of Ramadan," Thakur said.
