Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh met with Chile's incoming President, José Antonio Kast Rist, ahead of the presidential inauguration ceremony. In a social media post, the minister stated that he reaffirmed India's commitment to working closely with the new Chilean government to strengthen its bilateral relations in areas such as trade, investment, critical minerals, clean energy, and innovation. Mr. Singh also conveyed greetings from President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and said that India looks forward to a new chapter in India-Chile relations.
