
Beijing, March 2 Indian Ambassador to China, Pradeep Kumar Rawat, unveiled a statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the India Club in Hong Kong on Monday.
The India Club is one of the social and community organizations in Hong Kong.
The club was established in 1949 and formally registered as the India Club in 1967, according to its website, catering to Indians and people of all nationalities.
Rajesh Naik, the Indian Consul General in Hong Kong, welcomed the gathering, as stated in a social media post by the Indian Consulate in Hong Kong.
Members of the Indian diaspora participated in the event.
