External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will be on a two-day visit to Brussels, Belgium, starting today, at the invitation of the European Union (EU) High Representative and Vice President, Kaja Kallas. Dr. Jaishankar will interact with the Foreign Ministers of the 27 EU Member States during the Foreign Affairs Council meeting.
The Ministry of External Affairs has informed that during the visit, the Minister will also meet with the leadership of the European Union, as well as his counterparts from Belgium and other EU Member States. The Ministry added that Dr. Jaishankar's visit is expected to further strengthen India's Strategic Partnership with the European Union.
