ITB Berlin is a key meeting point and the world's leading travel exhibition for the global tourism industry, providing an important platform for networking and exchange for Indian travel stakeholders.
At ITB Berlin, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat held productive bilateral meetings with his Indonesian counterpart, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, and the Federal Government Commissioner for Tourism of Germany, Dr. Christoph Ploß. The discussions focused on enhancing tourism flows, promoting sustainable travel, expanding air connectivity, and strengthening people-to-people ties between the two nations.
The India Pavilion was also present at the International Travel Exhibition, showcasing the country's rich diversity of cultures, languages, and traditions. ITB Berlin 2026 was held from February 3rd to March 5th.
