Tel Aviv/New Delhi, February 26 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day state visit to Israel generated immense excitement and enthusiasm in the West Asian nation, and this was clearly visible in the enthusiastic welcome for the Indian Prime Minister inside the Knesset by Israeli lawmakers and the general public.

Social media platforms in Israel are abuzz with developments and conversations related to Prime Minister Modi's meeting with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the latter's thunderous applause during his address to the Knesset – the first by an Indian Prime Minister.

Previously, the top two trending topics on X accounts in Israel were related to Prime Minister Modi's visit to Israel.

Users, excited and enthused by the growing bond between India and Israel under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Netanyahu, were sharing views and comments on various events related to the historic visit.

Netizens in Israel are keenly interested and engaged in animated conversations about Prime Minister Modi's visit to Jerusalem, as shown by the X trends.

Besides the two ancient civilizations vowing to deepen their relationship and India's pledge to stand with Israel, now and in the future, the X users were also impressed and moved by the memorable and breathtaking performances by "Divyang" (differently-abled) artists welcoming Prime Minister Modi.

Prime Minister Modi also shared his "love for India" moment in Israel, as a remarkable ensemble of Divyang artists performed the song "I Love My India," bringing together Indian-origin Jews and Israeli citizens.

Another breathtaking moment was the graceful presentation of Thiruvathira by members of the Keralam caregivers' community.

Prime Minister Modi said that he was proud to see the diaspora preserving India's rich artistic heritage wherever they go, and said, "The performance reflects the greatness of Kerala's cultural traditions and the dedication of those who are passionate about it."

Another instance that surprised even the Israelis was Prime Minister Netanyahu dressing himself in traditional Indian attire during the state dinner with his Indian counterpart, Prime Minister Modi.

"Before our joint dinner, I surprised my friend, Prime Minister Modi, by wearing traditional Indian attire," Netanyahu said while sharing a video of the two leaders sharing a lighter moment.
