
February 26, Jerusalem — Before concluding his 2-day visit to Israel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with prominent members of the Indian-Jewish community in Jerusalem, further strengthening people-to-people connections.
Earlier, PM Modi held delegation-level talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Both leaders discussed the entire range of bilateral relations, along with regional and global interests.
Following the talks, India and Israel signed 27 agreements, strengthening ties across multiple sectors. These partnerships cover emerging and strategic areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Quantum technologies, and critical minerals, signaling a major push towards future-ready collaboration.
During his visit, PM Modi also held talks with Israeli President Isaac Herzog at the Presidential residence. They discussed various aspects of the India-Israel friendship. Both leaders explored ways to further enhance cooperation in areas such as education, startups, innovation, technology, and connectivity. The two leaders also planted a tree under the 'One Tree for Mother Earth' initiative.
With strengthened strategic cooperation and a shared vision for stability and innovation, the visit marks a new chapter in India-Israel relations.
