The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has praised the central government's decision to provide free HPV vaccination for adolescent girls aged 14 across India. In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the IMA stated that this initiative will contribute to the prevention of cervical cancer, protecting the health and lives of millions of women in India. The IMA also noted that, with over 18 hundred local branches nationwide, the IMA is fully committed to supporting this important national mission.
