March 20, New Delhi – India has reiterated that the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan will remain in effect only if Islamabad ceases its support for terrorism.

Speaking at a United Nations (UN) event to mark World Water Day, India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, P. Harish, stated that Pakistan must prioritize the sanctity of human life before raising concerns about the treaty, considering it a global epicenter of terror.
