
April 10, New Delhi – External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met with Mauritius Prime Minister Dr. Ramgoolam and conveyed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s best wishes.
He highlighted significant progress in bilateral relations over the past year, covering areas such as development, health, education, technology, maritime security, and people-to-people connections. The discussions also addressed developments in West Asia.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar joined Mauritius PM Dr. Ramgoolam to witness the signing of a Letter of Exchange on a Special Economic Package for infrastructure, health, and security. He also inaugurated 11 India-supported High Impact Community Development Projects in sustainable development, energy, sports, and infrastructure.
S. Jaishankar also highlighted the vibrant India-Mauritius development partnership currently underway during his visit. He shared a video showcasing ongoing collaborative projects that strengthen bilateral ties in infrastructure, sustainable development, and community welfare between the two nations.
