
New Delhi, March 20 Although the ODI World Cup is still a year away, the 20-odd potential Indian players have already been identified, and the five national selectors will keep a close watch on these players during the IPL, which begins on March 28, a top BCCI source told
The Ajit Agarkar-led panel includes SS Das, RP Singh, Ajay Ratra, and Pragyan Ojha. The World Cup will be co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia in October and November 2027.
The panel members are expected to be present for matches at their respective bases while also watching other games on TV. The IPL begins with defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad in Bengaluru.
Agarkar hasn't requested an "extension"
