Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated General Phan Van Giang on his appointment as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence of Vietnam.
In a social media post, the Minister stated that India looks forward to further strengthening its long-standing defence ties and deepening cooperation in areas such as security, military exchanges, and defence industry collaboration under his continued leadership. Mr. Singh also expressed confidence that the India-Vietnam partnership will continue to grow stronger in the years to come.
