An oil tanker, carrying crude oil, arrived in Mumbai yesterday after safely navigating the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. This is the first ship bound for India to pass through the waterway since maritime traffic slowed following recent US and Israeli strikes on Iran. According to Mumbai Port officials, the tanker arrived at Mumbai Port yesterday. The vessel is carrying 135,335 metric tonnes of crude oil and has docked at Jawahar Dweep, where unloading operations have commenced.
