March 17, New Delhi: The second Indian vessel, Nanda Devi, arrived at Vadinar Port on Tuesday, carrying 47,000 metric tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas.
The tanker, which navigated the Strait of Hormuz, reached Indian shores amid growing concerns over a potential shortage of cylinders triggered by tensions in the Middle East.
Authorities stated that the arrival of the vessel provides timely relief, ensuring a stable domestic supply of LPG during a period of heightened energy uncertainty.
