March 30, New Delhi — India's Paralympic champion Pramod Bhagat won one gold and two silver medals at the 2026 Spanish Para Badminton International.
Bhagat, along with Manisha Ramdass, won gold in the mixed doubles, defeating fellow Indian players Nitesh Kumar and Thulasimathi Murugesan. In the men's singles final, Bhagat secured silver after losing to Nitesh Kumar.
In the men's doubles, Bhagat and Sukant Kadam also won silver, losing to the Indian pair of Naveen Sivakumar and Surya Kant Yadav.
Overall, India achieved multiple podium finishes across different categories at the tournament.
