
March 16, New Delhi – India concluded its campaign at the 2026 World Boxing Futures Cup in Bangkok with a strong medal haul of five medals, including one gold, three silver, and one bronze.
The standout performance came from boxer Chandrika Pujari, who delivered a dominant display in the women's 51kg final, defeating her Uzbek opponent by unanimous decision.
Three Indian boxers secured silver medals after reaching the finals in their respective categories.
Earlier in the tournament, Radhamani Longjam won a bronze medal in the 57kg category after her campaign ended in the semifinals following a closely contested match against her Ukrainian opponent.
The tournament, held from March 8 to 15, brought together young boxers competing in youth Olympic weight categories.
